Pop Up Ave is just two weeks away and we are SO excited about the vendors attending this month. Natalie Lynn of Natalie's Craft Kombucha will be joining us for the first time from Elysburg, PA. In the three-plus years she's been brewing the probiotic tea, she's developed 18 flavors that range from sweet to herbal to floral. If you're booch lovers like us, you'll be excited to try her more unique flavors like "Herbal Goodness" and "Lavender Rose." And if you haven't yet experienced the tart, slightly fizzy deliciousness that is kombucha, make sure you stop by her booth and find the booch that's right for you!
// Where does the inspiration for your company come from?
I am really driven by the opportunity to really help people, it's what wakes me up in the morning with a smile on my face. A healthy life is a happy one, and being able to contribute to someone having a better day, or a healthier life...it's the best feeling in the world!!
// What makes your kombucha special?
Since the very beginning of all of this, I've been dead set on providing the freshest kombucha available to my customers. Every week I am brewing, and every week we are delivering. Rather than stocking kombucha ahead of time and having distribution, each order from a store is made to order and delivered by me and our small NCK team. I'm a huge kombucha fan (of course!), and providing people with what is my favorite...it's a no brainer!
// Where and how do you work best?
I am a super social person by nature, but when it comes to working, I really like to work alone! When I'm brewing and flavoring, I get lost in the process and love that time with the kombucha. It really is a sort of therapy for me, so I hold that space very sacred! I'm also a morning person, I like to rise with the sun and get right to work.
// What's your favorite piece of advice?
If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're right! That quote rolls through my head every day, and man is it ever true. We are all so capable of so many things, successes, achievements, and also extinguishing our own fires. For me, the most important thing I've learned through this business is that this is just so true. Being your own biggest fan is so key for me, and when I first started NCK, I would look at this quote every day on my wall, and still do. Doubts and fears can start to creep in, but as long as you keep your mind on the prize, challenges become small hurdles with big rewards. The power of positive is a beautiful thing! If you think you can, you really can!
